Bahamas Scuba Diving

Bahamas scuba diving at the Little Bahamas Bank is somewhat featureless, consisting of shallow white sand with spotty, low-lying reefs and sometimes a wreck or two.

Even though you can encounter barracuda, turtles and some species of shark, the one marine animal divers come to see is the dolphin.

Wild pods of Bottlenose and Spotted dolphins have been interacting with divers for over 20 years. It is these guaranteed dolphin encounters that have made scuba diving in the Bahamas so popular.

Only snorkeling with dolphins is permitted. But divers who are lucky enough to encounter these wonderful, inquisitive animals in the clear, shallow waters will have an experience they will never forget.
